Beaches to Longleaf: Closing the Gaps
An ongoing project, partnered with the Conservation Fund and Longleaf Alliance aimed at preserving world-class longleaf pine forests in Northwest Florida, while providing visitors and locals with access to these areas and other neighboring treasures – by car, as well as by bicycle or foot.

Community Involvement Highlights, 2012
A “story map” tour of key public outreach events that the Council participated in during 2012. This map was named “Best Story Map” at the 2013 Esri Southeast User Conference and was featured in the Summer 2013 edition of ArcUser.
Major Capacity Projects Completed 1988 – 2014
These maps contain all of the road capacity projects completed within the Florida-Alabama, Okaloosa-Walton, and Bay County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) areas between 1988 and 2014. The maps include projects funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and projects that were funded by the cities and counties. These projects are all the outcome of the TPO planning process. For any project to receive state of federal funding, it must be included in the TPO’s Long Range Transportation Plan, Project Priorities, and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
For each project shown on the map, a short description, year of completion, and project cost has been included.

2010 Adjusted Federal Highway Urbanized Area Boundaries
Census-defined urbanized area and urban cluster boundaries have been adjusted by FDOT, with assistance from TPO staff, to smooth irregularities.
Regional Network Maps
These maps include Regional Transportation and Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Facilities within the Northwest Florida Regional Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and within the Bay, Gulf, Holmes, and Washington Regional Transportation Partnership Boundaries.

These maps depict Florida Department of Transportation 5-Year Work Program Rural Projects from 2012 – 2016.
